Tidlös white
Concrete grandfather clock cast from crushed marble and white cement. The heritage of the traditional Swedish Mora clock meets a pure, modernist expression. The clock is powered by a quartz movement.
Height: 195 cm. Width: 17 cm. Depth: 16 cm.
Top outside diameter: 29 cm. Foot: 28 x 27 cm.
The concrete floor clocks are among the most distinctive hallmarks of Forsberg Form. They reinterpret the heritage of the traditional Swedish Mora clock in a contemporary expression and are today found in embassies, art collections and private interiors internationally.
The first floor clock, designed in 1999, was produced in an edition of 180 pieces. The edition is now dispersed among collectors and rarely appears on the secondary market.
Each floor clock derives its colour from the choice of sand. The surface is etched to reveal the structure and natural tone of the material, giving every piece its own individual character. The grey tones are created with Bösarp sand, the light tones with marble, and the dark tones with black diabase.
